    Abbie House is delightful, terraced, three-storey townhouse in the picturesque coastal village of St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife. This is the perfect location for a holiday by the sea where you can walk to the harbour within a few minutes. Here you can watch the boats, have a coffee and sample the home baking in the friendly local coffee shop. There is an excellent seafood restaurant on the harbourside as well. St Monans is a charming conservation village and there are historic buildings, quaint lanes and wynds to explore and an old windmill that once powered the salt panning industry. Freshly caught fish is available in the village and there is an excellent fish and chip shop.
    The Fife Coastal Path passes through the village and has spectacular coastal views to enjoy while you follow the route to sandy beaches, pretty fishing villages, old castles and secluded coves. If you like a round of golf on your holidays, there are more than forty golf courses in Fife, from the famous championship fairways of St Andrews to traditional links courses and beautifully landscaped parkland and heathland courses.
    For a day out, St Andrews is well worth a visit and has a great variety of attractions to visit and explore including many historic buildings and excellent places to eat. If you would like some retail therapy, there are some super boutiques as well as high street names.
    Abbie House is nestled away on a quiet street and the ground floor has an open plan living accommodation with a patio door which leads onto a pretty courtyard where you can relax after a day exploring. Ideal for all ages, the games room has a selection of activities including table tennis and snooker, or you can listen to your favourite music.     This is a great holiday house. We all felt immediately at home. It is well equipped, with high quality bathroom and white goods, and is in easy (well for a hilly Fife coastal village) walking distance of the harbour, shops, restaurants and the Coastal Path. It is a bit of a climb to the second floor up the staircases. Highly recommended.
