St Monans is a charming conservation village and there are historic buildings, quaint lanes and wynds to explore and an old windmill that once powered the salt panning industry. The Fife Coastal Path passes through the village and has spectacular coastal views to enjoy while you follow the route to sandy beaches, pretty fishing villages, old castles and secluded coves. If you like a round of golf on your holidays, there are more than forty golf courses in Fife, from the famous championship fairways of St Andrews to traditional links courses and beautifully landscaped parkland and heathland courses.
For a day out, St Andrews is well worth a visit and has a great variety of attractions to visit and explore including many historic buildings and excellent places to eat. If you would like some retail therapy, there are some super boutiques as well as high street names.
