Great cottage. Lots of space for 4. Super clean and really well equipped. Only down side was the fact electricity is not included and I had no idea how much. I was £25 for 4 days.

Lovely spacious cottage with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. Very clean with lovely fresh clean bedding and towels. Enjoyed seeing the cows and also deer in the fields immediately adjacent the garden. Convenient for Portree and also central for getting out and about. Party of 6 adults enjoying walking and visiting Skye. Slight negative point, as 6 independent adults self-catering, fridge a bit small and no freezer. We did manage but possibly had to shop for food more often than we would have wished to when on holiday. Slight problem with wet room door lock and lack of storage/shelf space in upstairs bathroom. Also, a couple of hooks in bathroom would not go amiss. Otherwise an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay. Many thanks for eggs and chocolate teacakes - much appreciated.

Had a fantastic week staying here. The views are amazing and we were very lucky to have such amazing weather! The cottage was lovely with great facilities and a lot bigger than expected too! We would love to return when we are able to!

The cottage is situated on its own land with private driveway and uninterrupted views facing Portree and beyond to the Culllins. The sitting room/kitchen is a little bigger than I’d imagined from the photographs, the kitchen is well equipped and we were provided with fairy liquid, kitchen roll, dishwasher tabs, salt, etc which is very useful. Milk, eggs and tea cakes were also left which is a nice touch. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. There’s 2 shower/toilet rooms, the walk-in shower is super, very powerful and seems to have underfloor heating. We only used the storage heater in the sitting room continuously, plus a few blasts in the bedrooms 1-2 evenings. That combined with cooking most nights (oven twice) and lights gave us a bill of £34 for heating/electric. Not bad but glad it was no more and it was a mild concern having no idea how much we were racking up. Margaret came along on the last day to determine the bill and was lovely and friendly. I would definitely use the cottage again if coming back to Skye. An excellent base very close to Portree.
