This detached property is accessed via a rough track and sits within its own private gardens with direct access onto a stunning 400-acre croft where guests can wander through the many woodland walks surrounding the farmhouse. This is a perfect location for large families and groups to relax and enjoy this stunning part of Scotland and is an ideal base for exploring the Highlands.
The farmhouse offers a wealth of facilities including a wood burner, a large cooking range and use of a private indoor hot tub which can be enjoyed all year round. The accommodation comprises of a spacious reception hall, a boot room for drying your clothes off, a superb large farmhouse kitchen where you enjoy those cosy nights, a good sized living room with an open fire, and a further smaller living room. There is also a utility room which has a 6-seater hot tub.
There are four bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and is equipped for disabled guests, with a walk-in shower, as well as a hoist and a specialised bed available by prior arrangement. There is also an additional ground floor shower room. On the first floor there are three further bedrooms, one with double and single bed and an en-suite bathroom, one with three single beds and an en-suite bathroom, and one with bunk beds.
The local area is packed with things to do throughout the year from winter skiing (weather permitting) at Nevis Range, 15km, which is Scotland’s newest centre. There are numerous other attractions including Ben Nevis Distillery and Mallaig Marine World. The property is within walking distance to the nearby pub which serves good local food, as well as the train station, so you can explore the area without the need of a car. There is also golf nearby.
