We love staying in Acorn Cottage, this is our second time staying and we have already booked again for Feb next year, it’s so clean and cosy, I would highly recommend, we love it.!

A lovely bungalow, well into the coumtry. Beautifully fitted out, warm and we had a super break there. Close to some lovely towns, countryside and seaside. Will happily recommend to anyone.

Fantastic holiday clean tidy owners were great top value for money just wishes the cottage had own fenced back garden

Obliged to go without my brother who recently started dialysis. Took my 2 dogs but would not recommend to dog owners as there is no enclosed garden. Had to exercise them on leads at all hours. Bungalow was very comfortable and superbly equipped. It stands within the grounds of the owners lovely farmhouse at the end of a 3/4 mile unmade road. It is close to the Somerset/Dorset border and a good base from which to explore both counties. If you like cider, you are at the epicentre and Perry's is well worth a visit. Closest towns are Crewkerene and Yeovil. Further afield are Dorchester and Bridport. West Bay (Broadchurch) is very busy but the Jurassic Coast is rugged and incredibly scenic.

The cottage was very well equipped and spotless. We were greeted when we arrived and had a wonderful stay in the countryside. The only downside was the driveway from the road to the cottage. It has quite a rough surface and care had to be taken. Overall we were very pleased with the choice of accommodation.

We were delighted by Acorn Cottage and would love to return and enjoy it all over again. We loved the welcome pack which was very much appreciated and as it was all locally sourced we went out and bought more.

Excellent cottage. A little difficult to find with the post code, just head to North Perrott on the sat nav and give the owners a call! We'd ordered some shopping to be delivered for 8 but as we were a little late getting there the owners kindly unpacked everything for us, amazing.

Lovely cottage on a beautiful farm in a great area. Crewkerne just down the road a lovely town with things to do an excellent base for your holiday would recommend to anyone. It was a nice roomy cottage which was important for our disabled son and would book again. The hosts were really helpful and available if needed. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Lovely cottage wonderful peaceful location, just perfect.

Fabulous holiday home beautifully equipped to the highest standard with everything you could possibly require. Amazing welcome basket on arrival. Stunning location, fantastic natural habitat from every window. If you need to get away from it all this is the place to be. Totally dog friendly. Extremely central to local attractions. The property is accessed by a long bumpy lane which does not cause a problem if taken slowly and the property at the end more than makes up for this.

Great place and owners just be aware garden is not enclosed and we were fine with our dogs as no one was in the attached cottage .

We had a lovely holiday, the cottage was well equipped and plenty big enough for a family of 4. It was lovely to arrive to a basket full of local produce and the owners are very friendly/ welcoming. It’s a great central location where you can get to a variety of places if you are prepared to drive, every where we went was 30- 60 mins drive, but we visited places like Weymouth, cheddar Gorge, Wells, Longleat. Thank you for a beautiful base for our family holiday! X

Lovely property in a beautiful setting. No enclosed garden for the dogs but that is not necessarily an issue as the location is very quiet and 'off the beaten track'. We enjoyed watching the variety of birds visiting the bird feeders, especially the local woodpeckers. We ate at the village pub one night and thoroughly enjoyed the 'home-cooked' food and friendly welcome we received.

We use Cottages.com a lot for our UK holidays and Acorn Cottage was by far the best cottage that we have had the pleasure to stay in. It was clean, well equipped and whilst we did have the pleasure of meeting Martin, that was only because he was busy completing the cottage next door. The bird life there is amazing and well fed we have to say :-) Going in March the weather wasn't brilliant but the little porch on the front of the cottage was ideal for bird watching :-) The road leading up to Acorn Cottage is a typical farm track so take your time getting down there. Martin and his son did fill up a lot of the holes half way through our visit, thank you :-)
