Mulberry Cottage is lovely, exactly what we expected, lovely cottage nice and comfortable and just perfect for a couple & dog to escape and walk. Lovely local pub good food friendly atmosphere, Guy the owner was very helpful and considerate we will definitely be visiting again, when the availability meets our needs. Craig

A beautiful cottage set in a quaint village. Really enjoyed our time there.

Lovely spot for dog walking which was our main priority. Fabulous countryside. Cottage quaint, clean, newly painted with comfortable bed. Height and depth of some doorways for my 6 foot husband was an issue, he smacked the top of his head several times the first day, (I hung an orange sainsburys bag over mantle which reminded him to duck.) Not enough hot water to fill 1 bath and wash hair even if you share. Plus having to squat down in the corner bath to shower might have become an issue if we were staying longer than 3 days. We are used to a multi fuel burning stove so lighting this one was ok once we got the hang of it but be prepared to subsidize this very reasonably priced cottage by forking out for coal, wood and electric radiators If you go in colder months.

Been a couple of times and will be back...fantastic place to just unwind and a great base for seeing the Jurassic coast in all its glory!

A lovely cottage with access to lots of walks and pubs.

Lovely cottage. Freshly decorated .Well equipped. Great location could go on walks for a week and not need a car.

I stayed for 2 nights here. I was very disappointed that we was charged extra for electricity, winter time and we had no choice to have the electric heaters on. Although there was a log fire, again disappointed that we were not supplied with any free logs, so had to spend more money getting those. I perhaps should have read the description better, as I didn't realise it was out of the village and not really walking distance to the pub.

Very clean, comfortable and good location. Only drawback was the heating. Not very efficient and expensive.

out of 10

Great little cottage but extra charge for electric should be mentioned in the advert and would have been nice to have decent amount of wood for the fire available on the 1st night. Also hardly any toilet paper on arrival wasn’t great

out of 10

During my stay the weather was very cold and windy. Sadly the wood burner burnt through wood at such a rate that I spent over £60 on wood and kindling to last the week and only had it going a couple of hours each evening! Once out the whole Cottage turned cold again very quickly. I have a wood burning stove at home and it is way more efficient than this and it keeps my Cottage warm for hours after it's gone out. Also the lack of a shower is a nuisance and the bath is so huge the hot water runs out before you can get a decent depth in the cold weather. In warm weather the Cottage is probably much more comfortable but wouldn't return in cold damp conditions.

Lovely cottage, very low doorways tho, watch your heads.cosy and comfortable

We so enjoyed our holiday , the cottage is cosy and the log burner was toasty in the evenings. Cliff top Walks to die for on the doorstep and one of the best pubs ever is a mile’s walk away. The dog loved it too!

out of 10

Nice cottage, good location for exploring coastline etc. Our dog enjoyed all the walks accessible from the door as did we. Need to be careful with low beams and would highly recommend the owner invest in a new shower as the one in the bath is extremely poor.

excellent break with the 2 dogs, will be staying here again

Not the standard billed and left after 3 nights. Dogs, dog hairs, smell and generally not clean.
