This self catering accommodation provides a fantastic retreat for a couple away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lounge has low windows which means you can relax and enjoy a lovely view down to the river and onto the bird feeders where an array of birds and if you are lucky even a cheeky pine Marten may come to visit You can access the owner’s large garden and gain a splendid view over the fields to the Sound of Mull. Access to the seafront is only a 10 minute walk. The local village of Lochaline is two miles away and it provides all the essential amenities including a shop post office hotel with pub and an award winning restaurant - the Whitehouse. There is also a ferry which runs regularly over to the Isle of Mull. This is an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas of Morvern " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/768/840/768055.jpg CC511356

What an absolutely wonderful cottage we stumbled upon. The owners are friendly, kind, helpful and courteous. The cottage has a jaw dropping location, looking out onto the sea and the Isle of Mull. Cosy, quaint and met all our needs. Lots of wildlife to see, lovely local walks and a short drive to the local village. 10/10 isn't enough!! Just awesome.

A great place to retreat from the world and to explore the local area at a slower pace. Lovely welcome package from the hosts and we enjoyed our time. Although the weather was variable, the natural beauty of the area and the people more than compensated.

This is a well appointed property with everything a couple would need to be comfortable. Located around 2 miles from village & ferry port of Lochaline in peaceful countryside with views over the Sound of Mull at the end of the driveway. An ideal place to enjoy the quiet rural surroundings and to explore the local area. The short crossing to Mull makes trips to Iona and Staffa possible as a day trip. Highly recommended, would use again.
