We had a wonderful week here at Station House which is very dog friendly. We stayed in Coach A which was a home from home for us and our dog Freya. The apartment has everything you need and has been recently been updated with lovely fittings. Everything has been well thought out in design for us and for a dog. Lovely little touches for our dog being homemade biscuits, a sleeping mat and a towel. The garden is beautiful and has lovely views over the village cricket green. The village is beautiful and has lovely places to walk the dog. The village butcher is outstanding. Everything we purchased was top notch in taste and quality. Especially enjoyed the pork pies. John and Angie are very welcoming and helpful owners. They have lots of good ideas for doggie friendly things to do in the local area. We will definitely return.

A great little place. It was small but there was room for everything and it was very clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

We had a very warm welcome, which included a welcome basket of snacks and wine. This was also extended to our dog too, all very thoughtful. The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean in all areas. The outside space was amazing - from a beautiful garden to wonderful countryside views. There was also an amazing outlook over the local cricket ground. We would be happy to return and recommend the accomodation to our family and friends.

The disused railway station is unique all that was missing was the gentle sound of a steam engine. It is ideally placed for exploring the coast and there is a fantastic butchers in the village

Excellent base for a couple to explore coastal & inland venues in N.Yorkshire. Picturesque and calm location with good local walks & excellent butcher's shop in the village. Try the pork pies while warm. Loved the 4 day break
