Fantastic weekend: the hot tub was at 39C when we arrived, and held temperature all evening. The dog ran up & down along the banking but we could always see him & he seemed to know not to go in the river which was in spate (due to all the rain in February!). The big shower in the bathroom would have room for more than one if you needed your back scrubbed (!) & the bath inset amongst all of the rocks is nice alternative to the hot tub. We went to both the Cairn Hotel & the pub on foot & there were things going on in both ( a country & western weekend & a pool tournament respectively). We didnt get to ski because of the wind so we went cycling & the girls went for a run around Ellen Woods instead, across the suspension bridge & the ponies didn't seem to mind our labrador. The place was easy to clean at the end because its so uncluttered & spacious - we measured it for fun and the main living space is 18 metres end to end. The guard round the log burner allowed us to dry socks & was easy to light. I've been before, when the 3g used to be a problem, but its fine now, over Wifi or 3G )it might have been 4g - I didn't look properly). There were only 4 of us, but we'll be back with a full set of friends next time!

We had a lovely stay in Alt Beag over new year 2019, 8 of us in the group including 4 children. The open living space is fantastic, lots of room to lounge and play. The new hot tub was a brilliant addition, really made the holiday especially for this time of year with short days and cold weather. The log fire made the space cosy, and there is underfloor heating throughout which meant that actually the fire wasn't really required that often. It is easy to walk into Carrbridge, which is possible from either side of the river at the front of the property. There is a telescope for star gazing, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife outside, with a dipper fishing in the river each morning.

As a family we recently stayed in one of your properties Allt Beag in Carrbridge Aviemore. This property was very disappointing. Firstly we were unable to Contact the host on several occasions prior to our trip and ended up having to call your head office to get access. On arrival the property was very unsanitary we had to wash all the dishes cutlery pots etc before we could use them. We had to brush the floors which had a lot of dog hairs skirting was filthy. The particular room we stayed in was very unclean and stank of stale smoke cigarette ash all over the windowsills and all round the bed covered in dust. We could not use the hoover which hadn’t been emptied never mind cleaned in a very long time it even had some sort of eggs growing In it. The shower was burst from the wall and leaked all over the floor. The outside of the property was very unsafe with no gradual steps of any kind coming onoff the decking. No bathroom on upstairs level for 4 kids and unsafe spiral staircase access. A pulley for drying clothes that was put up over a tall fridge freezer making it basically unusable!? Old dog bed by the door. We have been coming to Aviemore every year for over 40 years and never come across the uncleanliness of this place. Very disappointing especially as my sister had paid a lot of money for the property. We will definately not be recommending or using one of your properties again.
