    An exceptional property. Comfortable, warm and with lots of treats for the guests, plus extras not normally found at other properties eg quality toiletries. The hosts supplied recommended places to visit and lots of leaflets and maps.

    Alnwick apartment is perfect. Right in the middle of Alnwick and within a short walk of the castle and Gardens. It's only a 5 minute drive to Almouth and not far to Holy island Seahouses Bamborough etc. The apartment is extremely well equipt with good quality furnishings etc. And spotlessly clean. Parking is fine with free on street parking not far away. Long stay carparks and disc parking for up to 2hrs right outside. No negatives at all, can't wait to return

    I think this was our 3rd stay now - I just love this apartment - it has everything you could possibly need, it is always clean and tidy, nothing is too much trouble if you do need help.

    The apartment is in a good location in the centre of Alnwick. We had no difficulty with the parking arrangements with a combination of street parking directly outside and a long term car park nearby. The apartment is very well equipped and has been refurbished to a high standard. The location makes it very convenient for cafes and restaurants and food shopping and it is also handy for the bus station should you wish to have a break from driving.

    We have had a lovely holiday in Alnwick Apartment. It really does have everything you could possibly need and then adds a few extras! Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented I couldn't fault a single thing. It has an ideal location in the heart of the town yet quiet and peaceful too. Particular thanks for the welcome pack which was a delightful surprise. I have enjoyed visiting Alnwick, and different self catering accommodation, for the past six years. Next year I hope to return to Alnwick Apartment. Thank you.

    The apartment is in a brilliant location in the centre of Alnwick, close to a wide range of shops, cafes, pubs etc. It made an excellent base for exploring Northumberland and we would both recommend visiting the Beamish Museum and Alnwick Castle and gardens. A visit to Barter Books is also essential for anyone interested in books.

    I would definitely recommend Alnwick Apartment. It is very comfortable and clean and a great place to come home to after a day's golfing. It's location is perfect for the restaurants and bars and Alnwick itself is very central for touring Northumberland.

    Our drive from Norfolk to Alnwick was long and tedious, so the welcome pack that greeted us was especially appreciated. Anne and Stephen left us a selection of hot drinks, milk, biscuits, soft drinks, cereals for the following morning and two individual bottles of wine. The rest of the apartment was equally well-thought-out. The kitchen was neatly stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, packing a picnic or indulging in the occasional takeaway. The lounge was really comfy and there was a huge selection of games, DVDs, books, tourist information and takeaway/restaurant menus. The bathroom had shower gel, liquid soap and hand cream, and there were fresh towels in the bedroom. There was plenty of wardrobe space and the beds were really comfortable. Alnwick Apartment is really central for visiting the main attractions - Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnmouth, Warkworth, Amble and the Northumberland coastline in general. We even hopped on the train for a day trip to Edinburgh. The town of Alnwick is itself a delight with its excellent museum, shops, cafes and nearby Barter Books -- a huge second-hand bookstore. Parking is not a problem. Although you can only park outside the apartment for two hours at a time during the day, the disc system allows you to park overnight from 6pm to 10am. There's ample free parking nearby anyway, so it's not a problem. We've stayed in a lot of holiday apartments over the years, this ranks as one of the best.

    Fantastic weekend break based in this excellent apartment. The most comfortable bed we have slept in on a weekend break. Apartment is centrally located and loads of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Top class welcome pack. We will definitely be back.

    We had a really good holiday. The flat was the best-equipped and most comfortable property we have ever stayed in. The owner had thought of everything in terms of what anyone could possibly need and also provided a brilliant welcome basket with cereals, tea, coffee and chocolate, bread, butter and jam and two small bottles of wine. Absolutely outstanding! The flat was quiet, but also right in the middle of Alnwick meaning we could walk to all the local attractions and excellent restaurants. We would certainly hope to stay here again.
