Despite the wet weather we had a lovely time at Alpaca cottage. Very well equipped with even 2 hairdryers and a safe in the wardrobe. Fantastic hot water and very spacious for 2 people. Easy to get to places of interest though we had primarily booked it to visit our son who has recently become father to twins. We look forward to returning next year.

The cottage was very good the only thing was that the T.V. Was to small for the size of the room

We found the accommodation excellent but some of the lanes a little challenging David and Jenny Foster were on hand to help if needed. I would certainly give them five stars.

Great cottage we love this very much, I wouldn't class it as 5 star or luxury as it has no bath and only a double bed. The price has gone up a lot in the 6 years we have visited but not the quality.

The cottage is delightful and comfortable unless you are taller than about 1m60. Some of the fixtures need updating especially in the kitchen. Small changes could make the property much more disabled-friendly. However, the location is superb with lots to see and do nearby and the alpacas are a joy.

We had a fantastic week at Alpaca cottage. The place is comfortable, quiet, well equipped and beautiful and within easy reach of interesting towns like Battle and Hastings and lots of lovely walks in this gorgeous bit of Sussex. We’d happily go back and highly recommend.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. A great place to relax and admire the Alpacas in the field in front of your living room windows. The cottage is well equipped, private, clean and tidy. The owners Jenny and David are close at hand, living just behind the cottage, if you have any problems. This cottage is the gem of Sussex and we would not hesitate to return or recommend it. Five stars.

The location of the cottage was perfect: set in a quiet rural area but within easy reach of a range of National Trust properties. The locality had a positive vibe with beautiful countryside and pretty villages. Loved it!
