This was a charming little cottage in a great location. Having our own parking space was a bonus. My husband and I got married in St. Just and stayed the week in this cottage. It was perfect for us. The views from the decking are impressive. St. Just is less than 10 minutes away with Penzance and Lands End very close too. The cottage was clean and comfortable for two. The second bedroom looked great too. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was a minor problem on our last but one night when the bathroom light fitting broke. It was completely replaced the next day! Geevor Mine is walking distance and definitely too good to miss.

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed. Location was fabulous and the sea views from the sun terrace were spectacular

A great base for exploring West Cornwall. We had a lovely week in this convenient and comfortable cottage. The location is great; approached via a good, fast but quiet road from Penzance, and within a short walk to a shop, pubs and restaurants. It is also on a bus route with regular and late-running buses. The private parking space was an added bonus. The cottage is compact but makes good use of the space available, and was fine for 2 adults and a baby. We were able to fit our travel cot into the twin room by moving the furniture slightly. We also took our own highchair and managed with this by moving it out of the way after mealtimes because the dinning area is also a passageway. It was very helpful and thoughtful that basic household items were provided for the week (dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, washing machine tabs etc). The kitchen appliances were in good condition and the cottage was generally well-furnished by holiday let standards. The headroom on the staircase is very limited but unsurprising in such an old property. Even at 5 ft 7 I had to stoop all the way up and banged my head several times. It is fine if you are agile and careful but not good for those with limited agility. My 6 ft 5 husband found it very difficult to descend the stairs safely while bent double and carrying a baby. The view out of the kitchen window at sunset was beautiful. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough for us to use the lovely raised terrace area above it, which would have had even better views.

In the heart of Cornwall’s mining heritage and close to the coastal path, this was a great centre to explore the area. Well equipped kitchen and two cosy living rooms. It would be amazing in summer to be able to eat on the roof terrace, watching the sun set, but sadly too nippy at Easter for us to enjoy the view.Mattresses not the most comfortable, but other furnishings serviceable and tidy.

Only gripe was the damp smell it needs a dehumidifying I’m guessing it’s because it’s not in use constant and needs airing and heating all the time. The cottage itself is lovely and in a great location, the local pub The North Inn is very welcoming. We loved the place and the area so much so we are already booked up again for New Year.

We loved staying at the cottage my husband and his sister were both born in Pendeen and it was a fantastic base to spend time with family. The cottage is very well equipped and a real home from home - thanks very much.

This was our second stay in the cottage and as before was all that we needed. It was very well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar & a pint of milk waiting for us on arrival. A great location for the coastal path & fantastic for walkers & cyclists.

The sofas and beds are all uncomfortable but the cottage has all facilities for a good stay and is in a fabulous location to discover the south west of Cornwall

Cottage was dark and poky, beds were hard and sofa's were uncomfortable, strong smell of damp in the front rooms, overall was surface clean, and in a great location, just not very comfortable, especially after a day walking the coastal paths
