We had a fantastic time and a great place to stay and big thank you to Rob and Paula great hosts

When we arrived Amelia Cottage was spotless clean and tidy and kept to a high standard. Rob the owner couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was as great as possible. The hot tub and gardens were fab and we were in there everyday. The kitchen was fully stocked up with all elec appliances and cooking things you could possibly need. We would love to go and stay there again as we had a lovely relaxing break and would recommend Amelia Cottage to anyone ?

A lovely little cottage. Well equipped.modern and a great hot tub.. unfortunately where it was situated wasn't ideal and spoilt our holiday. Once inside it was lovely and relaxing.we appreciate we may sound snooty but we were trying to get away from a similar location where our own home is. Should have checked.

Myself and my husband spent 3 nights here for our mini moon. When we arrived we were surprised to find the cottage at the end of the street of a run down estate. We had to park on a fairly busy road outside the cottage and were constantly worrying about someone hitting our car. It would be great if the owner could find a way to provide off street parking. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything you may need. We were particularly impressed with the hot tub and the access to Netflix. Only downside was the sofa was very uncomfortable. The sofa is a sofa bed so we tried turning it into a bed for more comfort but it didn’t make much difference. Radstock doesn’t have much to do or many shops, pubs etc but if your willing to drive abit further Bath and Bristol are fairly close by.

Lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed and the Hot Tub was just what was needed after a long day of exploring Bath!

On the positive side the cottage was clean, has a nice shower room, a pretty garden and spa and very close to Bath. On the negative side, I left a wish list of items I thought would be a useful addition to the cottage, e.g. a potato peeler and a grater. There was also nothing to wipe down the kitchen surfaces with. It is on the edge of a housing estate with a very busy road running right next to it - I think it's a 'rat-run' as it seemed to be more busy at peak times of the day but there was a constant flow all day. I was worried that my car would get side-swiped but luckily it was ok with the wing-mirror pulled in. TV position is useless as if you sit on the sofa nearest to the TV you still cannot see the TV. Crazy selection of books - I have stayed in many cottages and there is usually just novels; not much point in having DIY books and 'How to Fix Just about anything'. It felt like most of the books were there to fill the bookshelf-replace with fiction or remove them and replace with ornaments. No cupboard in the bedroom as it's very small - there are hooks for hanging clothes next to the bed but if you use the hangers on the hooks you cannot get past them without knocking all the clothes onto the floor. The bed is very, very low and extremely uncomfortable; no support in the mattress and an elderly person would struggle to get into and out of it as it's so low. The sofa was also very uncomfortable; it is a sofa bed and in my experience sofa beds always are uncomfortable. I note from previous comments the owner stated it's very new but this doesn't make it comfortable. It was only good value for me as it's low season; I definitely would not pay the higher prices commanded in high season for it.

Lovely cosy accommodation set in beautiful little private garden. Immaculately clean, with everything you could need for a stay. Hot tub was a main reason for booking and was very well maintained and private. Rob is always on hand if needed but very unobtrusive, so much so that we never actually met face to face! He checked in with us on arrival so that we had his number if required and ensured that we were out when checking the hot tub. Totally relaxing break and with great bus services into Bath and Radstock within an 8 minute walk. So much of interest in the area that a week is not enough time. We would definitely like to visit again.

Lovely cottage. Hot tub good. We were worried about on road parking but it proved not to be a problem.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. We were extremely comfortable & all was lovely & clean & very well equipped. Knowing that Rob & Paula were at hand was reassuring but they never imposed. Loved the little touches from them too. Good location as base for visiting areas such as Bath, Wells, Wookey Hole, Cheddar & the seaside. The hot tub was a great feature & lovely to jump & relax after days out. The outside area was nice & private. We would definitely love to return & would recommend a stay.
