The cottage was quite small but very clean, the hot tub was a plus and the WiFi worked although be aware that its not great in South Wales anyway. The owner lives on site and was very plesant and helpful...and the area is beautiful we actually went over to visit family.

From the moment we arrived, Bev and Ali were friendly and welcoming. They struck the perfect balance of being on hand if we needed them and leaving us to enjoy the cottage. The cottage is well appointed and gets the sun all day. It is extremely comfortable and has everything need for a comfortable stay.

Amazing location. The hot tub is overlooked by the main house though. A fence panel would have been a great idea to make it private. Lovely accommodation and friendly owners.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at anchor cottage....the owners were very welcoming, the cottage was spotless and the bed extremely comfy!! We especially enjoyed the hot tub...was magnificent although could be slightly more secluded from view and an outdoor light would be helpful. The break was just what we hoped and we would definitely recommend to others...thank you so much.

The garden was not enclosed and our dog had free access to the riverbank, and from there she made her way around to a cul de sac and the road. Our fault for not checking that the garden was secure, but animals and children need to be supervised at all times to avoid the river, which is tidal with about a 6 foot rise at high tide with a lot of flotsam. You would not want a child or a dog to enter the water as the current is dangerous.
