Well-furnished it is semi-detached and offers the perfect ‘get away from it all’ retreat yet has easy access to transport links to enable you to enjoy the abundance of delightful places to visit. The Apple Store is situated in an area of the owner’s large grounds and the owner keeps dogs which you may meet when walking to and from the cottage. A short drive away is historic Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket for a day at the races. The beach at Felixstowe is 45 minutes away whilst the Suffolk coastal resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh are an hour’s drive away.     A very nice place to stay. The friendly and very efficient owner goes out of her way to ensure a comfortable stay and explains everything carefully about the accommodation. She is there for any enquiries but in no way intrudes upon one's privacy if that is required. A nice surprise on arrival was a few things as a kind of welcome pack e.g. Bottle of wine, milk etc. The garden and it's menagerie are a particularly attractive feature. Recommended.

    We give it a lower rating for comfort because the large corner settee is soft and low, not so good for seniors. Because its in a garden the privacy isn't total, but we did enjoy the 2 duck family's and the antics of the squirrels and overall found it very cosy and quiet and convenient for visiting family in area. Did manage to connect to the wi fi indoors.

    We enjoyed our stay very much. Ideal for our cycling plans as Apple Store offer a bike store and the property is almost on NCP 13. An excellent pub The Fox is only a very short walk away as is the local co-op.
