Sandown has plenty on offer, from a pier with amusements, dodgem cars, indoor crazy golf themed as Aztec ruins, and an indoor bowling alley to cafés and beachside bars/restaurants. You will also find a wild heart sanctuary on Sandown seafront which is home to rescued animals that include lions and tigers. High sky net fun is also on offer nearby.
Sandown is a lovely seaside resort, neighbour of Shanklin, another seaside resort on the southeast side of the island. You can walk along the seafront from Sandown to Shanklin and enjoy more family fun. Shanklin is also home to the Old Village, you will find beautiful thatched cottages and tea rooms. Nearby is the town centre where you will find small supermarkets for all of your supplies. There are also cafés and eateries on the high street, from a pie and mash shop to Chinese and Indian restaurants.
