Very comfortable during our stay here- bed so good, and beautiful view across the loch and mountains. A shame the local shop next door has closed down and the nearest shop is a fair drive away! Very quiet so great nights sleep.

Very well maintained, equipped & furnished accommodation in a beautiful location. The local shop is closed & the pub is 1 mile down the road immediately opposite the ferry jetty. There is a local shop in Strontian & Morrison supermarket in Fort William. Ferry cost is £8.50 per trip but free if a a blue badge is shown. If only all self catering units were to this standard.

I only scored local amenities down because there are none! As you would expect! Peace, quiet, tranquility. Lovely cottage - great closed off garden - everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Use it as a base and try the small road north up the coast - not the ferry!

Absolutely lovely. So clean and tidy. Extremely well equipped. Just annoying that there's no shops within an hour but that's just the nature of the location. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Excellent location if you are looking to get away from it all. Cottage was perfect, super clean for a dog friendly cottage, the best we have stayed at. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a week in this cottage for two. It's a lovely cottage with very comfy bed. Only reason amenities is rated 5 is because the only shop is closing in November and that will leave just the pub. The ferry costs £8,20 each way, and while we really enjoyed using it, we did need to plan our days, especially shopping, so that we didn't add a significant amount to our holiday. Other shops are available in villages around but they are a fair drive away. Really enjoyed Arden though. Nice view from window and a very peaceful location.

We stayed here for a week and had a lovely holiday. The weather was typically Scottish, so lots of rain, but Arden was so cosy and comfortable we didn't mind at all. Arden had everything we needed. Location was perfect for us - excellent dog walks on the doorstep and although there is a ferry across to Fort William we often drove for the scenery. Will definitely be returning!

Good location. Easy to keep warm. Super views. Be wary of garden though as gravel all the way round. Difficult for disabled with a walker or wheelchair.

The cottage is in a great location, it's in easy reach of the Isle of Mull, Fort William and Glencoe and there's even a shop next door! It was clean, tidy and the views from the living room were amazing! It had everything we needed for our stay! The bed is very comfortable! The only negative for us was the lack of WiFi, we didn't know this before we booked it. Phone signal is great though, but no access to data. It wasn't too much of a problem though as the free-sat TV box kept us entertained! The ferry is also quite expensive at £8.20 per 5min crossing so bare this in mind when booking. All in all though it was our best holiday to date!
