Very comfortable well appointed cottage, the kitchen was particularly well stocked and supplied. We enjoyed our few days very much, pity about the weather!! The last 24 hours was damp and misty, we were glad to hunker down in warmth in front of the woodburner. Highly recommended.

This little cottage is in a fabulous location. It is a little piece of heaven and I can thoroughly recommend it. It is so cosy and comfortable, just what you need after a days exploring. It is so peaceful and the lack of light pollution makes it an ideal star gazers spot. The five acre field is very handy for the dog and boasts fabulous views over the rolling hills. I loved the wood burner and the smell of logs burning and bathing in spring water was lovely. I am definitely visiting again.

This is a lovely cottage in a very rural location, reached from the main road via a rather bumpy track. Its worth the effort once you've negotiated that track, because its hard to imagine a more tranquil situation, with great views across the valley from a pleasant patio area, and absolute peace and quiet, particularly at night. Star gazers will love it! The cottage facilities include use of a 5 acre field which is brilliant for dog walking or just ambling around and taking in the fabulous views of rolling hills with the rising sun providing the backdrop if you get up early enough. There's a good sized kitchen with most of the facilities and implements required for self catering, though the electric cooker is a little dated. Keeping the cottage warm during the winter isn't something we had to face, but I'd imagine that the large wood burning stove is up to the job, though far corners of the building might remain chilly. The water supply is from a spring, and pressure is adequate. The only drawback is the shower, the head being on a fixed point which is too low for most adults. All in all, an ideal base for exploring beautiful Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

We didn't realise that there was a standing charge for the log basket, a unit reading for the electricity and although we had notified the owner that we could not arrive until Tuesday we would not be able to stay an extra night unless we paid £45 for the cleaner even though the property did not appear to be booked for the Saturday. The view from the Cottage was lovely though so there were bonuses.

Had a lovely weekend here, a perfect "get away from it all" break. Stunning views from the cottage. Very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. We took our two dogs who also had a lovely time. We found Wales very dog friendly which was refreshing and we were able to take our dogs with us to every place we visited. Everyone we met was friendly and warm. We hope to go back in the future.
