No smoking.\n Cottage and apartments in a country house\nLocated in beautiful landscaped grounds\nPerfect touring base\nWonderful views over countryside and the sea\nWithin easy reach of the coast Just 20 minutes from Windermere these holiday properties are set in lovely countryside and ten acres of landscaped grounds facing south with wonderful long distance views to the sea and to the hills beyond. This large country house is set on a wooded knoll and has been skilfully converted into six spacious holiday houses which are owned by the Caravan Club Ltd and situated on the edge of one of their immaculately kept small touring caravan parks. The house consists of a two storey cottage wing W42981 a first floor apartment W42982 a ground floor garden apartment W42983 two ground floor apartments W42984 and W42986 and a first floor balcony apartment W42985.\nThere’s a lot to see and do in the immediate area. Close by is beautiful Cartmel Priory and the stately homes at Holker Hall Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall. 3 miles west along the coast is the refined small seaside town of Grange-over-Sands with lots of shops golf and fishing. The properties make an excellent touring base for the whole of the southern Lake District.     This was our 5th year in the same apartment and it feels like our second home

    Really good apartment and large for only 1 bedroom. Good location for touring the Lakes and Grange a very pleasant little town. The Hotel about 11m away has a good restaurant. Apartment very well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

    We were absolutely delighted with our cottage Arnside apartment it surpassed all our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want and need.The bedroom was lovely and we both enjoyed restful sleep on the comfortable bed/mattresses. The bathroom was perfect as both myself and my partner are elderly and have mobility issues, walk in shower/wet room, hand rails and again a spacious feel. The lounge was lovely and taste fully furnished with a fabulous set of patio doors looking out across the large expanse of private lawned, garden and the open countryside and hills beyond. The views were a joy. The general feeling of space was great. Our daughter & Son in law we’re staying nearby on site in their m/home and it enabled us all to share a relaxing, self catering, outdoor holiday together in style and comfort. We visited the many historic houses in the surrounding area and ate out in some delightful tea rooms and superb restaurants whilst marvelling at the beautiful landscape of the Lake District. Overall we couldn’t find a single fault. Even the heating was timed and set perfectly for us. The wardens were most helpful and the little shop on site was brilliant. 10/10 we can’t wait to return. Thank you .

    An excellent base for visiting our relatives in Grange-over-Sands yet near enough to the hills to go walking. The apartment was well equipped and really clean. I'm sure we will be back.
