The perfect country retreat for a family to unwind and relax in. Countless walks and pubs nearby and a local butcher who comes on Saturday mornings. Lovely hosts who are great fun but also respect your privacy. 10 out of 10!

Really lovely cottage, we would recommend without hesitation. We travelled with a 3 year old and 7 month old and it was suitable for them too.

A lovely place to stay - well-equipped and comfortable. So warm with under-floor heating, even on a miserable day in November! It's a pity the pub in the local village is closed now, but the travelling shop in a van which came to call on Saturday morning has all the basics. Very pleasant and welcoming hosts.

Lovely cottage. Lacked good glassware. Only two fizz glasses. Only one beer glass. Not much storage space in kitchen for food ie no cupboard. Didn't like where plates etc were stored on an open shelf so our dogs tail swished over them. Nowhere to drain pots on island unit. But the linens were excellent quality. Plenty of towels. BBQ hadn't been cleaned and I threw away paper towels in the cutlery draw which must have been in there over a year. Having said all that I would definitely recommend this cottage and go back. So overall 7 out of 10.

Lovely cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. No local shops so forward planning required. Saturday butcher visit was very welcome. However, as a get away from it break it's fantastic.
