Great place to stay, (all on one level) especially as we had an elderly relative with us. Very clean and the beds were really comfy. It could however do with some extra crockery as there were only 6 plates and cups which meant we couldn’t really use the dishwasher without being very wasteful, and had to wash up before the next meal. A few egg cups would be nice as well, but I am just being picky. Don’t let it put you off - great place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable cottage but a downside for us was its situation on the main Bedale to Leyburn road. The traffic noise was considerable both early in the mornings and in the evening. Lorries and tractors interfered with both tv and internet reception. Good washing machine but nowhere to hang clothes to dry. A few extra pieces of crockery and cutlery ( there were only 6 of everything ) would have allowed us to use the dishwasher more economically instead of hand washing at times. The patio doors were difficult to lock.

This is the nicest cottage we’ve stayed in. Quality fixtures and fittings. We had glorious weather. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely flowers left for us and milk and teabags etc. Has 3 bathrooms, one each, no queuing ?

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage with a couple of good restaurant/pubs a short drive away. The cottage was well equipped, the rooms spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There was a lot of heavy road traffic noise on the Monday morning, but overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

A beautiful cottage. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Also, well-positioned for a variety of local attractions. The owner kindly provided tea and coffee on our arrival and for the children there were board games and Wii.

Cottage is on a busy road from Bedale to Leyburn. I did not like the traffic noise. Lorrys and high vehicles I'd tractors affect tv signal.
