Fantastic cottage which was spotlessly clean. Lovely location with so much to do nearby. Loved our stay and would highly recommend a stay here

Great stay. Great to meet owner and property manager when we arrived who both covered everything we needed to know. Absolutely spotless. Hot tub was great. Perfect place for a dog - secure garden ideal. Would recommend.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had picked a beautiful place to stay, we were met by Derek and Barbara and shown around, the property was spotlessly clean and they had literally thought of everything from dishwasher tablets to bread, milk and jams. We needed for nothing during our stay, the range of dad's if you had a rainy day were 2nd to none. The hot tub was lovely and Derek makes sure it is always clean and levels topped up. The location is fantastic, lovely walks on the doorstep and a cracking pub (the vale of white horse) 20 minute walk away well worth a visit! Friendly locals and great food. We went as a young family of 3 plus the dog and they are so dog friendly. I have to say we have stayed in many cottages/barn converstions over the years and by far Askew Bridge Barn is the best and by a long way. The owners are so thoughtful without intruding on your stay. Getting out and about good, there areca number of large supermarkets within a few miles as well as places to see. We will defiantly be back as we loved every minute of it. Thanks Derek and Barbara for all your hard work keeping this place looking so good.

A beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and spacious. Hosts couldn’t be more helpful . The dog had its own cub board with treats in, lovely touch . No complaints or anything that they could do differently. A lovely Christmas 🎄🎁

This was our second visit to this lovely barn. Derek& Barbara are a very friendly couple and work very hard to make your stay relaxing , very comfortable and stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this lovely barn in this beautiful part of the country. The hot tub was always enjoyed at the end of the day. We hope to return again next year.

A beautiful place. Derek and Barbara met us when we arrived. Basics provided.. milk..bread..tea..coffee etc.. dog treats..toys for them..bowls for their food. Train track runs very close but we live on a boat and are always close to trains so not a bother at all. There weren't lots of trains anyway. Hot tub was fab. Everything you wanted had been thought of. Short trip to cirencester and half an hour to stow on the wold. A stunning property.

Barn was everything we expected. The railway line that runs right next to the property was listed in the property description on the website. After the first couple of trains, we stopped even noticing them. We're happy to come back again. Lots to do in the area, especially earlier in the year than when we visited.

We had a wonderful stay at Askew Bridge Barn. Derek and Barbara are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything. The property was spotless, homely, beautifully decorated and well equipped. A lovely location and plenty of information about places to visit, local amenities etc. Our dogs were even thought about with toys, treats and a lovely garden for them to enjoy. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax after a long day exploring. We visit lots of cottages in the UK with the dogs and its safe to say this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We will be back for sure. Thank you Derek & Barbara!

Beautiful cottage with lots of lovely touches and a wonderful hot tub. It was immaculate and owners so helpful. Very well placed for trips out into Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend

Very beautiful building we went out every day exploring the towns so unsure of local amenities but pubs were nice. Very clean welcoming (bread jam etc in kitchen ready) and everything you could need including the hot tub. Just a shame about the railway line at the back. Other than that it was perfect for us. My dog loved the treat and toy cupboard.

Made to feel very welcome by the owner. He was helpful and friendly. Barn was beautifully presented and had everything you could need, from cooking utensils to dog toys and treats.
