Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Peaceful location with lovely grounds. Very cosy and comfortable chalet and I would highly recommend it. Suitable for guests wanting to get away from it all with plenty of walks. Good base for exploring the Highlands between Fort William and Inverness.

We spent a week in Aspen chalet, perfect location for exploring, we visited John O’Groats, Landmark Adventure Park, Highland Wildlife Park, Plodda Falls & the Isle of Skye Fairy pools. The outside space was perfect for BBQ’s & bird watching. We had regular visits from a red deer & her fawn too. The chalet was perfect for us, a family of 4 with the added bonus of no WiFi or 4G, we played games & enjoyed each other’s company, we will definitely be back!!

We’ve just had a wonderful week (13th-20th July); everywhere was spotless, lovely welcome basket with teas, coffees, sugars, biscuits, pint of milk in the fridge. The location is just fabulous, watching the deer, swallows, swifts, etc, hearing the owls at night, seeing the frog, the woodland behind is lovely to wander through. Close to Fort Augustus, we went to Dingwall, Applecross, Isle of Skye, just wonderful scenery. Not once did we miss phone signal or WiFi, it was nice to disconnect to reconnect; feel very relaxed. Will most definitely be returning, Julie thank you so much & please don’t change anything.

There are two chalets on site, but the other one was empty while we were there so we had the place to ourselves, it was lovely, relaxing and quiet. A few red deer visited the land around the chalet on a daily basis which were nice to see. The chalet was so clean, a real credit to the owners. With the exception of a freezer, the kitchen had everything you could need for your holiday and the owners had kindly provided milk, tea/coffee etc so that you could make a drink on arrival which was much appreciated. There is a cafe in walking distance from the chalet but we didn't use it. Other facilities are around 8 miles away. We had a great relaxing time and would definitely stay again.

We had a brilliant, relaxing week in the Aspen Chalet. Aspen is located just off the road to Skye on the edge of a woodland area overlooking and overlooked by beautiful highland mountains and is a perfect base for exploring, there is a cafe a few minutes walk away which is open from about 8 - 6 and is very good. The host's Julie and Phil are lovely people and very welcoming. There is little or no phone signal and no WiFi which suited us down to the ground. Can't wait to return.
