    > Glorious uninterrupted sea views abound from this breathtaking location, one of Hartland’s most stunning spots. Atlantic House is a delightful, spacious, detached property, set amidst the owner’s 17th-century working farm at Blegberry. Beautifully converted from a former barn, this stunning property retains plenty of character with beams, stone walls and feature floors and is presented to a very high standard. The large, superb open plan kitchen/dining/living room takes up the main wing of the property and makes for the perfect gathering of family and friends to enjoy time together whilst taking full advantage of the views. Outside, the sunny patio is the ideal spot to relax watching the waves and spectacular sunsets. The property also has a large courtyard garden, ideal for al fresco dining, and the raised decked area and hot tub add the finishing touches for a holiday to remember. A delightful welcome pack awaits you on your arrival with complimentary beer, prosecco and an array of scrumptious goodies.
The magnificent rugged English Heritage coastline of Hartland and beyond runs across the farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a perfect haven for walking and bird watching or just to get away from the hustle of every day life. From your doorstep, meander down the track and through the corn field to the secluded Berry Beach. With its sandy gullies and shingle beach, you can while away the days here, rock pooling, boogie boarding, fishing or just relaxing with a good book. There are many circular walks through leafy green lanes, ancient woodland footpaths, bridleways and the South West Coastal Path, taking in sights such as Hartland Point Lighthouse, Damehole Point. where the final scene of the film ’King Arthur’ was shot starring Kiera Knightley and Clive Owen, Berry Head and Blackpool Mill, where much of the BBC series ’Sense and Sensibility’ was filmed. A 40-minute walk from Blegberry along the coast path will take you to Hartland Quay, with its Maritime Museum, gift shop and pub, family friendly beach and breathtaking views. Why not enjoy a traditional pub lunch and a pint and then meander your way back through the beautiful ancient abbey woods.
Children will love the pets corner on the farm, come and meet Hank the donkey a favourite with visitors to Blegberry. There is also a large playing field, and everyone will have fun in the indoor play barn complete with skittle alley, table tennis and pool table, as well as a play area for the little ones. The famous sandy surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are an easy drive and for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are close by. There are numerous National Trust properties in the area, as well as the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Clovelly, with its quaint cobbled streets and picturesque harbour, is a must. The village of Hartland is just 3 miles and has a good selection of village shops and pubs, all serving local produce. The historic port of Bideford, with its lively market, as well as the Lundy Island ferry and array of shops and other amenities, is just 15 miles. Golf, fishing, sailing, surfing and horse riding available locally. Shops 3 miles, pub 2 miles.

A wonderful house in a great location. Suited our party of three generations - 6 adults and 4 children aged between 4 and 6 year’s. Plenty of room, spacious living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. The owners are lovely, showing us around the farm and the animals, including Hank the donkey and a flock of Herdwicks. Great walk down to the beach with spectacular views and great sunsets. Games room with pool table, table tennis and skittles was great for a rainy day. Also an outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame and a trampoline.

Lovely property in a beautiful remote location which we all loved. Excellent space for three families, each with a private sleeping space and bathroom. Loved the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Great dining for all 11 of us. Given its remote location for shopping one small inconvenience was the lack of bathing & washing items such as soap for hand washing, shower gel, dishwasher and washing machine powders. Games room was great for the children and for the games competitions with grown-ups. Welcome basket was a nice touch as was the prosecco, thankyou. Very welcoming owners, hope to return when our son visits from Australia again.

This was an amazing place to stay. The family who own Atlantic House were so lovely. Well what can I say about the house but wow. We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather and ate all meals outside in our private courtyard. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was of a high quality. My family made good use of our hot-tub and we used the games room. The views from all angles were amazing, my favourite was to sit in the late afternoon sun watching the sun go down from a small patio outside the kitchen. Our children enjoyed the play area with trampoline, slides and swing. The favourite pastime for them was to feed Hank the donkey. Would I go back, yes in a moments notice

Lovely big spacious house. Family run farm and business. We felt like they were part of our family. Fresh eggs and lamb cuddles were fantastic. Peaceful yet close enough to places to visit.
