Najac, another medieval town, is 23km and has the ruins of a castle perched on a rocky outcrop. Cordes-sur-Ciel, a medieval bastide town is 25km and is built high on a hilltop overlooking the countryside. Throughout the year the towns and surrounding villages have events celebrating their specialities such as the festival of hats in Caussade and the festival of châteaux in Bruniquel. The region is proud of its gastronomy and there is no shortage of restaurants to choose from. Shop and restaurant 3km.
