Mill View Cabin is a modern cabin with all the amenities inside that you would expect from a much larger cabin. Nestled in the beautiful upper Eden Valley and situated between Appleby-in-Westmoreland and Kirkby Stephen at the foot of the Cumbrian Pennines, the cabin is conveniently located adjacent to and just off the trans Pennine trunk road (A66).
This location makes for an excellent touring base for exploring the Yorkshire and Durham Dales to the east, and the Lake District National Park to the west. This detached holiday property offers riverside views from the private decking. It is tastefully furnished, well-equipped and very comfortable, enjoying countryside views and a lovely setting on a no-through lane within a small, rural caravan park.
The park encourages wildlife and has a conservation pond with a wide variety of birds in the surrounding woodlands, as well as frequent visits from roe deer. This is a wonderful base for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits. Less than a mile away, main roads give access to the myriad attractions and stunning landscapes of the Lake District National Park, Yorkshire Dales and County Durham. A plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants are available in Brough, only a mile away. The larger town of Kirkby Stephen, 5 miles away, has a supermarket and variety of gift shops, cafés, tourist information office and train station. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
