    Aultivullin House Annexe occupies a separate wing of a large rural country house. Situated in a stunning location on a promontory on the edge of the sea, it enjoys uninterrupted, seascape views across to Cape Wrath. This two storey property has its own separate entrance door, which leads into the charming living room. This tastefully presented room has a lovely ambience, with a pretty cottage suite and wonderful sea views. Three steps lead up to the bright, modern kitchen/dining room. This room enjoys the same aspect, with sheep grazing the closely cropped hillside and stunning sea views. Open-tread stairs lead up to the large double bedroom which runs the length of the property. Here the views really come into their own, as large Velux windows drink in the seascapes and surrounding hills from every vantage point. This delightful room also has further comfortable seating, an ideal space to sit and plan the next day’s excursion. Adjoining the annexe is a well-equipped gym for visitor’s use. It has a rowing machine, exercise bike, weights, a work out ball and various other keep-fit accoutrements. Outside is a courtyard garden for visitor’s sole use, as well as landscaped gardens shared with the owners.
    Aultivullin House Annexe is situated on Strathy Point, a promontory on the far north coast of Scotland, overlooking the wild Atlantic sea. There are superb walks direct from the property, including an amazing gorge walk just a few yards away which leads down to a secluded pebble beach – a superb walk for the sure-footed. This is a wonderful location for outdoor enthusiasts. Hill and coastal walking, fishing, cycling, kayaking, sailing and wild-life watching are all enjoyed locally. Dolphins, whales, porpoises, seals and otters all frequent this shoreline. There are a myriad of seabirds and beautiful rare wild flowers in the grassy slopes outside the property. There is also a colony of puffins at nearby Melvich. The village of Strathy, just 3 miles away, has a pub and café, and a wonderful sandy beach. The adjoining village of Melvich provides further facilities including a shop and small restaurant. The main coast road forms part of the renowned North Coast 500 Route, which encompasses some of the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere in the British Isles. Beach 2.6 miles. Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
