Hoseasons " Enjoying its own peaceful and private garden and adjoining countryside with views across the Derwent Valley this attractively and very comfortably furnished detached house stands in the village of Darley Bridge just 100 yards from the village pubs and 200 yards from the river where fishing can be enjoyed. Avoca offers an excellent base for exploring this beautiful area. The steam railway ‘Peak Rail’ is just a 0.5 miles away Matlock and Bakewell Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all within 3 miles. Alton Towers and the National Tramway Museum are within easy reach. Shops and restaurants about 1 mile. \nGround floor Living roomdining area. Kitchen. A lovely house, clean, spacious and ideally located to explore the Peak district. However, although the house is great in the ways already mentioned the furnishings were, for us, a little dated. Would this fact stop me from recommending Avoca as a place to stay? No, as I said it's an ideal base for exploring and you couldn't ask for more lovely, helpful owners (luckily they live just down the road) who called on the first night to make sure that everything was ok and came out immediately when we had a slight problem with the door lock. So yes DO stay here and you wont be disappointed but you were warned about the furnishings.

Spacious and comfortable detached house in great location. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was spotless. It was easy to reach all main attractions as near A6 but far enough away to be peaceful with good co-op and pubs nearby. Picture window in lounge with great view.
