No smoking. \n In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its coastal walks this first floor apartment features wonderful panoramic views of the Avon Estuary and BigburyBantham beaches. The area is famous for surfing kayaking wind and kite surfing and equipment is available for hire on the beaches. The apartment is only a few minutes walk away from Burgh Island Bigbury Golf Club the local pub café and beach shop and is within drivingwalking distance of some excellent local restaurants. Avon Quillet is filled with home comforts and an open plan living space boasting panoramic sea views and there’s even private access to the beach Many South Devon beaches are under the protection of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or the National Trust. There are miles of award-winning beaches for families or you can try some of water sports fishing or bird watching. Bigbury-on-Sea includes the exclusive Burgh Island Hotel and the 14th century smuggling inn the ’Pilchard Inn’ which are accessible at low tide or by sea tractor at high tide. Bigbury beach has a number of rock pools so there’s plenty of sea life to search for if you go rock pooling with the children whilst the tide is out. \nThe South West Coastal Path runs through the village crossing the River Avon on the small seasonal ferry and continuing towards Hope Cove Bolt Tail and Salcombe. There are stunning scenic walks along the coast to the secluded Ayrmer Cove and inland on the old smugglers path to an excellent 13th century pubrestaurant at Ringmore. Beach 100 yards.     Beautiful views made this holiday special. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone or return for another visit ourselves. There is nowhere locally (that we noticed) to buy supplies without using the car so stock up if you want a ‘car less’ holiday.
