This semi-detached cottage was once the village post office and now offers spacious family accommodation within walking distance from the village inn and tea rooms. The cottage boasts an enclosed garden and access straight onto the footpath to the summit of the Snowdon Mountain and the owner has a permit available for private fishing on the lake in the village. This area is an outdoor enthusiast’s delight with many walking and cycling opportunities from the village and the Welsh Highland Railway Station is a short walk perfect for relaxing and enjoying breathtaking scenic journeys either to Porthmadog along on the coast to or Caernarfon with its historic castle perfect for keen photographers looking to catch something truly beautiful.     Brilliant location. There is a firm footpath via the garden gate leading to Rhyd Ddu steam railway station a very short distance away or directly joining the rangers path up Snowdon the other way.

    Perfect location for Snowdon. Views are Amazing. Ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. No shops near by so need to drive out to get anywhere. Local pub was always very busy and tables reserved ahead of evening so recommend booking way In advance.

    This is a perfect base for exploring the wonderful 'Eryri' or Snowdonia. The cottage's amenities are quite basic but it has all you need and the host is welcoming and helpful.
