very good cottage and we will go back again excellent host and greeting pack . good village location

Had a fantastic time at Badger Cottage. Perfect for three, beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Fabulous little additions such as farm fresh eggs, REAL honey (I ordered four additional jars!), and a 'welcome' homemade victoria sponge. The local pub is good and friendly. No local shop. Yes, it's a main road, but the cottage is still lovely. I wouldn't mind visiting again, on my own, just to get away from EVERYTHING ...

Cottage is right on the side of the main road from a Dorchester to Sherborne and therefore sufffers from a great deal of road noise. The furniture is old, dusty and uncomfortable with the dining table and one of the chairs broken

A lovely cosy cottage, with everything we needed, a great pub within walking distance. Our second visit and we will come again.

Compact, very clean and warm, large comfortable bed, well equipped plus off road parking. What more could we have asked for ?

Lovely cottage, a lovely home made cake waiting for us, bed was so comfy. Once heating was on the home was lovely and warm. Local pub was great the food and service 10/10 (Rose and Crown) co op just down the street.only thing I would suggest is with I had a 2year old with me not been able put the baby gate up stairs worried me when we was up there.

This cottage is charming ‘ cosy’ well equipped. The welcome pack was a loverly surprise ‘ ( eggs milk’ honey and a home made cake from the owners farm). Perfectly located for exploring Dorset ‘ Somerset and surounding counties. Great food in the local pub just a short walk away. We will definitely be going back again ‘ can’t wait!!

We’ve had a lovely stay at Badger Cottage. A great location with lots of great walks with our dog. The cottage is well equipped for cooking the great local produce available from the Udder Farm shop, a short drive away in East Stour. A lovely local pub with good food and Sherborne so close for shopping. A very restful week in a very lovely place.

    loved it

Lovely stay. The cottage has a peaceful, cosy atmosphere. The homemade cake was delicious and the locally sourced eggs made a very good omlette. Honey from the local bees had a special fruity taste. The table in the garden was a little wobbly and this was promptly replaced which was great. We did have a little trouble with the TV but once the batteries were replaced it was fine. This is the second time we have stayed here and it was once again a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
