What can I say. When we walked into the cottage it was exactly what we wanted, it was beautiful. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The cake was delicious and the flowers were a very nice touch. I read some of the reviews most were very positive – one or two were negative, none of those issues bothered us in the least. We were more than happy there and will return later in the year

We had a lovely time, cottage was a great base to explore Dorest and Somerset. Food at the local pub was really good and the cake at the cottage on arrival was delicious.

The moment we walked into Badger cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our weekend escape. The weather was awful but that doesn't matter when you can snuggle up by the fire on an autumn day. Everything needed for a self catering holiday was supplied. Also got to mention the huge bath. We wouldn't have changed anything .

Badger cottage is fairly well equipped and was clean & tidy. There was a lovely homemade cake on arrival. There was a nice bathroom downstairs but is crying out for a power shower as the water pressure is extremely poor The front and rear garden needs some attention ( weeding and a bit of fence painting would be a great start) The cottage is situated on a fairly busy A352 road and care needs to taken coming out of the drive due to a blind curve. There are some great dog walking routes especially the apple orchard behind the housing estate opposite. We enjoyed our stay due to easy access to nearby towns ( Sherborne, Dorchester & Weymouth) but would not rebook at this particular cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay, a great little cottage that's well equipped and in a nice location. The cake and other goodies on arrival was a nice touch. The cottage is on a main road so there is some noise from passing traffic but we did not find it an issue. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
