This cottage is beautiful with a lovely view into the garden. Well located for travelling around Oxfordshire & beyond. The only negative we found was parking, on a very steep hill, & not always a space available. Otherwise perfect.

We had a really good vacation in Bakers Lane cottage. Don't trust Google Maps to find it, it's in Swalcliffe (and Google thinks it's in Tedmarton (on my phone)! If you like a quiet place and a beautiful garden this is a really nice cottage with very good equipement too.

Lovely house. Well furnished and very nicely decorated. The bedrooms in particular are very nice. The garden and summer house though are the real gems. Lots of seating in the good sized garden to chill out and enjoy the lovely countryside surroundings. The summer house is very big, and well heated so it's a lovely space to relax even when the temperature dips outside. The village is rather small, so if you're after more than a church and pub you might be disappointed - but we just wanted to relax so it was perfect for us. The pub just up the road is very nice and welcoming, and it's a nice change to have Greek dishes on the menu.

Great cottage! It had everything we needed, was quaint, and the owner was very helpful. It was a bit chilly downstairs, but he provided a space heater and additional wood for the wood burning stove.
