Situated on a hill overlooking fields of sheep and the beautiful valley of Glenmalure, this holiday cottage makes a complete ‘get-away-from-it-all’ holiday retreat. Accessed via a rough track, it is set on a working sheep farm, and is over 100 years old. It has been restored to a very good standard; a large open fire makes it cosy and welcoming. The Wicklow Way passes by the cottage and is ideal for hill walkers - ending up in the Glenmalure Lodge for great food and music. Horse riding in Annamoe. Avoca (home of Ballykissangel) is about 9 miles, Glenmalure Golf Club is about 4 miles, Greenane Maze is great fun for children and the historic Glendalough is about 6 miles. Dublin is under 1 hour’s drive. Shops, pubs and restaurant 0.6 miles.
