Wayne the owner was very friendly and always there to help should you need anything. The cottage was very nice and well equipped and was situated within walking distance of the Manifold Trail. The Manifold Inn was also within walking distance and provided very nice meals. Hulme End is two miles to Hartington where you can enjoy a lovely walk to Milldale (10 miles there and back). We would definitely return to Riverview Cottage in the future. Pat and Mark

An excellent cosy cottage in a lovely rural environment. A sheltered secluded garden was an added bonus, as was the traditional pub just down the road. Great walks and views in the surrounding countryside and the owner could not have been more helpful.

The cottage was clean comfortable and lovely and warm. We were not very lucky with the weather but managed to visit a few places. The cottage is a little remote and the adjacent road is quite busy.

Ideal location for access to the Manifold, Tissington and High Peak Trails. The owner could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
