First floor Separate toilet and basin 2 bedrooms 1 double 1 twin can be double on request. Mezzanine Second lounge.\n\nElectric heating cot CD player washing machine dishwasher gas hob microwave fridge enclosed lawned garden terrace garden furniture barbecue ample off road parking. Sorry no pets. NB There is an open-tread staircase at the property.\n\nIn a quiet hamlet near the village of Bannalec this restored detached stone holiday cottage is set in a large secluded garden. The open plan living area has a beamed ceiling traditional furniture and original fireplace. You can cycle along quiet tracks and roads through the local countryside or find a nearby river for some peaceful fishing. The south coast is an easy drive away 15km with beaches for surfing long white sands and dunes. Also visit Pont Aven a picturesque riverside village famous since the time of Gauguin as a centre for artists with many galleries art shops museum and cafés. Concarneau with its picturesque fortified port and marina is also perfect for an afternoon visit.     Equipment provided was adequate and it should be pointed out that the small table top oven was sufficient along side the microwave. The most disappointing feature of the house was the lack of comfortable seating in the main living area. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac was ideal as the neighbours were quiet and the views are of beautiful countryside.

    The house is impressive, the furniture attractive in a traditional French style. The garden and views are excellent. The immediate area is calm and typically rural. The location is very good as a hub for touring. The holiday however was totally spoiled by the saturation of the mattresses, pillows and bed covers in all 3 bedrooms with some form of chemical substance.That together with the toxic smell of disinfectant in the kitchen/sitting room was excessive.
