We had a lovely, relaxed week staying at Barn on the Green. The house is lovely. So clean, cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District. There's lots of good places to go walking without having to travel far, e.g. the monsal trail, Chatsworth estate, Ladybower reservoir and Bakewell. We had some really nice meals at the Bulls Head pub. It's great to have a good pub just across the road. This was the perfect spot for a week away with the dog, and hope to go back again.

A clean, cosy and homely cottage to return to after a long day's walk - with plenty of walks right from the doorstep. Very useful utility/boot room for keeping coats, boots and dog equipment separate from the rest of the house. Spacious courtyard providing plenty of off road parking and a 'sun trap' to relax in. Owners readily available - if needed - to help with any issues. Tesco delivered to the address so the isolated position of the cottage/lack of local shops was not an issue.

We had a fantastic time staying at Barn on the Green. Loved everything about it. I requested a place with a pub within walking distance and couldn't believe how close we were. The cottage is simply stunning and we could have stayed far longer than our long weekend. The Bulls Head is a fab place too - very welcoming.

Beautiful cottage in attractive, quiet hamlet. Very well equipped for self-catering. Impressed by provision of Amazon prime firestick and extensive DVD collection. Cava on arrival a lovely touch. Lovely and cosy. Gorgeous open fire. No amenities within easy walking distance other than a pub (which we didn't try). Ideal location for exploring the peak district. Plenty of parking for 3 cars. Rug in living room could be cleaner - plenty of dog hair. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
