Barn Owl Lodge is a stunning timber lodge nestling in beautiful woodland within easy access of the A39 Atlantic Highway main road through Cornwall. Beautifully constructed to a very high standard throughout, there is parking for 3 cars on your private driveway with gate access, and a wonderful, spacious decking area for outside dining. The garden area is enclosed with a mix of gravel and grass and plenty of space for both children and pets to work off any excess energy.
Inside you are greeted by an open plan living space with an impressive high ceiling. Clever, subtle lighting, stunning wood burning stove, Smart TV and contemporary furniture make this a very comfortable room. A large dining table allows for family meals and gatherings with access through French doors to the decking area. The generous sized kitchen has all the appliances you may need.
Bedroom one has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Bedroom two has a further double bed, whilst bedroom three has twin beds. The family bathroom is ideal for both adults and children with a full-size bath with shower attachment.
Ideally located near the north Cornwall coast there are plenty of beaches and hidden coves to visit and explore. Just minutes from both Padstow, home to TV chef Rick Stein’s food empire, and Newquay, Barn Owl Lodge is the perfect location to base yourselves to explore all that Cornwall can offer. Close by is the Camel Trail, a flat 18-mile trail that hugs the shoreline of the Camel estuary and travels inland to the delightful market town of Wadebridge, before leading on to Bodmin and the surrounding moors. You can hire a bike and cycle the trail, in part or all 18 miles - a firm favourite with locals and tourists.
Cornwall’s north coast offers some of the finest surfing spots in the UK with Polzeath, Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay and of course Newquay itself all easily reached. Padstow harbour also has many day boats that provide tourist and fishing trips. For places of interest other than beaches there is Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and the world-famous Eden project is only 30 minutes away. Barn Owl Lodge is also on the grounds of the Cornish birds of prey centre.
