Had a lovely time and the owners are friendly and helpful. Having a frosted glass door on the toilet/ bathroom is a bit odd and potentially embarrassing if you have a family staying. There was only 2 chairs for the dinning table and could have done with 2 more chairs as we are a family of 4. We enjoyed our stay at Bay Tree Lodge

Great place and location. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to fill in the gap between the bath and the curved wall with some tiles. Then an “L” shower shower curtain could be erected over the bath. Other than that it was excellent okay a very nice welcome pack was supplied which was very welcome and useful.

The accommodation is ideal for two, close to Aldeburgh and Southwold. The rating would have been a 10, if it had had a stand alone shower in lieu of the shower attachment that connected to the bath taps. Apparently this is in the pipeline, so be advised to confirm this with the owner.

My second stay in this delightful property. It has everything you need for a peaceful retreat yet very close to Snape and Aldeburgh. Perfect. I’ll be back again. Bett

This was our second visit and despite poor weather we had an enjoyable stay. The lodge is very homely and comfortable, a good base for doggy walks and exploring local places of interest.

Lovely quiet relaxing break to get away from it all. Well equipped lodge, nice welcome pack. Plenty of walks and places to visit if you don't want to stay put but we just enjoyed the peace of the village.

Lovely break and ideally situated for visiting local area. It could be improved by adding a shower which I understand is in the process of happening. Very quiet location.

The cottage was nicely situated. Very quiet. Unfortunately, it was let down by the fact that there was no shower over the bath, only a hand held shower. No shelves in the bathroom on which to place toiletries. The bedroom space was cramped with no where to store clothes. There was a small room off the bedroom described as the dressing room. Unfortunately , it was also a store cupboard for cleaning equipment.

Lovely location in secluded area. Well equipped lodge with modern decor. Good walks and pubs nearby. Nice to have the welcome pack. However, shower would be nice, even if over the bath.

We had a lovely relaxing week at Bay Tree Lodge. It was well equipped with everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. Rachel the owner was very friendly and she left us a welcome pack on arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay here.
