We had a lovely weekend. Weather was fabulous so that obviously helps. One or two niggles, garden is overgrown in places which the dogs enjoyed but we were concerned that there were nettles and brambles which could be a problem if you had small children. Fitted sheet in 2nd bedroom was not big enough for the mattress, curtains are white and it was bright daylight at 4am. The stair gate at the top of the stairs we struggled to get to work and this caused lots of laughter whilst trying to work it out. This could also be a problem with small children. Overall we have really enjoyed our stay at Bay View to celebrate our sons 30th birthday and the niggles would not put us off staying again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bay View, the cottage was well equipped and clean, plenty of space for the dogs in the garden and coastal walks on the doorstep. A lovely tranquil area and the locals are friendly too.

Lovely place, very quiet road apart from our dogs that is. Nice big garden and lovely beach. Cottage had everything we needed even a pint of fresh milk for a cuppa. Only downside was our old dog hurt his paw 2nd day so we had to stay off the beach and their isn’t many alternative walks without driving. Would recommend cottage to anyone

Lovely well equipped holiday home in a great location. The gardens were great for the dogs and well enclosed. The beach is great and only a short walk down a steep slope and the dogs loved it. We would definitely recommend to friends

we went to Bay View for a family get together and we were not disappointed, the location was excellent and I would say given a little tlc and an update the cottage would be a little beauty. We appreciate that it has only been on the letting market this season so the owners have done well given the size of the property and gardens,in fact we loved the gardens as they were so sympathetic to wildlife and our dogs were perfectly safe in them even though they are only small dogs they didnt manage to get out of the gardens and it was lovely for them to have so much room to play. The things in my opinion that would improve the property is more room for food and clothes storage otherwise it is perfect and we would visit again.

Lovely comfortable house. We have a very energetic dog and I didn’t feel comfortable letting him off the lead in the garden - parts are very ‘natural’ and we couldn’t be certain that it was securely enclosed all the way around, due to not being able to see and access areas of the lower garden. House was comfortable, we all enjoyed our stay.
