A get away from it all place with all the comfort and convenience of home. Stables cottage is so well equipped, beautifully furnished and felt so relaxing and calm. We were three adults - a couple with both our elderly mums and we all were sad to leave. We were also sad we didn't get the opportunity to light the burner - the central heating is so efficient and it was early September, so no need for the extra cosiness! It is such good value for money and I thoroughly recommend it. The only thing to improve would be that there are 3 bedrooms and two with ensuite. a cloakroom downstairs is good but one of the bedrooms has to share an ensuite and access through the other bedroom - perhaps a jack n jill door would be better. There is capacity if you lose the cupboard. The web details suggested only 1 bathroom shared by all, so a bit more detail would be good. It was fine for us but would not work for others. However, overall the VFM and comfort overcome this issue. Thanks for a lovely few days.

Having traveled from Australia to Scotland this was the last stop before home. The peace was wonderful, the views were lovely. The cottage was fine but not the best one we have stayed in. The beds were soft and uncomfortable in our room. The toilets were not clean on arrival. The lounge had sofas that the bottom part slipped away. The wood burner was a great feature and the kitchen was practical.

A beautiful cottage and so very quiet for a break from busy lives. Cottage was warm and spacious and very comfortable. The only down side was the lack of things like salt and pepper which you usually find left by previous visitors and running out of toilet tissue by the third day which meant a visit to Beauly co-op. also if you like a good wrap around towel when you come out of the shower then i would suggest you bring your own bath sheet as the towels provided were a bit small, and only 3 dish washer tablets which we ran out of as we were 6 adults eating in all weekend but luckily one of our party had brought some. having said that we had a great weekend lots of nice walks and beautiful scenery i would highly recommend Stable Cottage .

Really nice place to stay. Would have been nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge & some dishwasher tablets and sharp knives. Otherwise warm, comfortable - sofas you can actually sit the family on. Good location for exploring the local area and beyond.

great cottage - only downside for some of our group was no internet access - wifi in main living area would have been good.
