We had a lovely week and really enjoyed staying in Hutton-le-Hole. I loved the cottage & would have loved to know the history.i read the Hutton-le-Hole history left in the cottage and found beck Garth mentioned as been around in the 16centurary . With a jug found from the 12c . We did feel it needed some maintenance as some lights were out & the hoover needs maintenance ,a shower in the en-suite would have helped . But overall we had a great time and the family enjoyed it for the time they joined us . There was a lovely welcome pack Thank you to the owner.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village location. Museum in village good. Several pubs selling good food close by including one in village.

We stayed here 2 years ago and were really excited to return. We love the village and area. The house is perfectly located with easy access to Helmsley and Pickering. Having a downstairs shower and 2 sitting rooms is perfect for large families although not ideal if you are tall because of some low doorways and beams. Wi-Fi is included although not great signal. Kitchen is quite well equipped although sadly we had to clean many utensils and dishes before we could first use them. There was a high quality welcome basket and fresh milk in the fridge which was welcome after a long journey. We would love to return but the price increase means we will be looking elsewhere in future.
