Clearly states there is a welcome pack but there wasn’t one. When you’ve driven 6 hours to get to cottage then having to go out to get milk and bread is very poor

Very comfortable, fully equipped to very high standard, with excellent facilities. Probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed in, in 15 years of 3 holidays a year. Wifi @ 100Mb...

A wonderful 2 bedroom bungalow with 2 wet rooms, and a superb kitchen to die for. Lounge is bright and cheerful, dining area is a bit tight but you deal with it. The only negative, was that the back lawn was left to grow wild which allowed many weeds to manifest. Each to their own! At the end of the day we (two couples) had a wonderful time and would seriously recommend.

My wife, her aunt and myself spent a wonderful week at the Bee House. The bungalow is something special to be seen. Everything that was needed for the holiday was catered for. Seating and beds were excellent and comfortable. Aunty is 92 years young and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Would like to come back for another holiday in the future.

Cleanliness - cleaner had not cleaned the grill from a previous guest, this was passed to cleaner. Owner was in Vietnam and handy man (friend) was away for Christmas so when heating/ hot water failed it took two and a half days to sort. The owner DID reply as soon as he got the message and the friend turned up as soon as he could. They had hi-tech equipment BUT washing machine no good in December without a drier. Took us two days to find instructions for cooker and microwave as someone had put the iron on top of them on a low shelf. No-one else seems to have reported that the main bedroom door handle had collapsed or that one of the hand basin's had the plug stuck closed. We could have done with instructions for cable TV (needed a pin to watch some recorded programmes) and the DVD player. None of this - except the cold from lack of heating - affected our holiday as we were visiting children and grandchildren.

Good situation for visiting area. Security is poor - porch door locks well but main front door just has a yale lock - there are bolts top and bottom but neither work. I would say the bungalow has been refurbished for owners to live in at some time and not as a holiday let. Double bed was comfortable and storage good. Shortage of mirrors in main bedroom - dressing table mirror is for midgets. Second bedroom has no wardrobe. Lounge is laid out very well although a roller blind on the window/doors would be appreciated. Kitchen is of a high standard with lots of storage, however simplicity is the key for a holiday and the microwave being part of the oven set up required some understanding of technology. Eating cutlery and crockery very good but cooking pots and pans very poor. 2 tea cloths supplied were extremely stained. No kitchen towel. 2 wet rooms both excellent. I would stay again bringing some of my own equipment.

Lovely bungalow. Only problem was that the key safe was broken when we arrived. Otherwise the bungalow was a good place to stay in on the wet day we had. Thank you for the bottle of wine.

This is the best holiday cottage I been in everything in was perfect very comfortable, and I can not find eney thing wrong with it,I hope to go there again sometime thank them all for letting me stay there ??

The bungalow was very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. It would have been pleasant if there had been some planting in the garden as it was laid only to grass, but at least it wasn't covered with paving or shingle. It would have been helpful if a folder had been provided with details of emergency services, general services, local amenities and instructions on the use of the various appliances. Fidning information was a bit hit and miss. However, we had a lovely holiday and would quite happily stay there again if the occasion arose in the future. We do have family members in the locality so this is possible or other members of our family may wish to come there.
