Inside the rooms are large bright and airy many having dual aspect windows making the most of the views of the garden which is also delightful. An impressive reception hallway with beautiful tiled floor and original staircase welcomes you into Beech Bank. The main reception rooms are all on the ground floor and the open plan living dining kitchen is most impressive and perfect for socialising with your friends and family. The drawing room is delightful with dual aspect windows overlooking the gardens and the playroom will keep your kids entertained for hours if the weather is not fine. Upstairs all the bedrooms are large and bright. All you need to worry about is who will bag the sumptuous master suite with southerly views over the garden a dressing room and modern en-suite. Outside is just as impressive. From the stone pillared entrance a gravelled driveway leads around to the front of the house. The gardens are mainly in lawn and bordered by mature trees. Close to the Lake District National Park and the Solway Coast Beech Bank is the perfect location. Carlisle is within a 15-minute drive where you will find a variety of social leisure and retail opportunities as well as an impressive cathedral and castle. A trip through the National Park is a day not to be missed taking in the beauty of the fells and lakes which the park is famed for and a wander round the market in Keswick beautiful Derwentwater or the magical Theatre by the Lake is a must.     Cleanliness let the property down. We had to do a full clean removing cobwebs and spiders before children would go to bed on the first night. Also take note that the property is up for sale as we found in an estate agents window when walking around Carlisle. Beautiful property otherwise
