    Entrance via stable door to porch with useful heated drying area and boot storage.
    Lounge/ dining area: With corner set fireplace with gas fire, TV, DVD and stereo system.
    Kitchen: With electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
    Garage: With washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
    Bedroom 1: With double bed.
    Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
    Bathroom: With shower cubicle, bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
    Cloakroom: With hand basin and WC.

    All gas, electric, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair available must be pre booked.

    Situated at the foot of Butter Crags, Beech Ghyll and Little Beeches (CC121129) are a level, gentle stroll from the centre of Romantic Grasmere. The village has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops for you to sample throughout the day and into the evening and a good local bus service gives you the chance to explore the busier resorts of Keswick, Ambleside or Bowness, quite a contrast to the traditional rural feel of Grasmere. The award winning Michelin starred restaurant at Forest Side Hotel is also only ½ mile away.
    Beech Ghyll is a spacious ground floor apartment nestled in a secluded courtyard. Some wonderful walking can be enjoyed straight from the door. Perfect for the smaller family or two couples holidaying together, Beech Ghyll is very well equipped and the perfect choice for a self catering break at any time of the year. Comfortable furnishings and good quality beds ensure you and your party can relax and unwind during your stay. There is access to a sitting area reached by the garden steps with attractive mountain views.

    We had a wonderful week at Beech Ghyll. Fantastic location in the heart of the Lake District and Grasmere has everything you need but is much more relaxed than nearby Ambleside. The cottage is relatively spacious and the open plan living space works really well. We had everything we needed and there and would definitely stay again. The owners were lovely.

    This is a balanced but we believe fair review. This is based on the latest of over 10 visits to Beech Ghyll. The property is in a quiet courtyard setting, but is just a [lovely] 10 minute walk into Grasmere village. Surrounded by fells, you can make numerous walls from the property. The open plan layout inside is practical/ very well set out. Recent new furniture additions has gone some way to refresh the interior and the decoration is clean and relaxing. Levels of comfort is high in the open plan area. The kitchen provides most basic needs, although there is room for improvement [the need for microwave dishes]. TV reception can be patchy and the Sky service is very limited. The two bedrooms are spacious. The mattresses are a little tired but are not uncomfortable and the bed linen is very clean. The twin bedroom has always had a slight smell of damp, although nothing is visible. The large bathroom is clean, but the hot tap needs attention. Overall, this is a very comfortable, well situated holiday home, which will please most. There are limited views from the lounge area, just visible is the ridge of Siver How fell and a view towards Easdale Valley. It’s one of the best we have found.
