The village has a good selection of pubs restaurants and shops for you to sample throughout the day and into the evening and a good local bus service gives you the chance to explore the busier resorts of Keswick Ambleside or Bowness quite a contrast to the traditional rural feel of Grasmere.     Located in a quiet secluded courtyard within 10 a minute walk of Grasmere village. The general area is in the central Lakes and offers excellent local amenities together with the charm and beauty of Grasmere village. Overall, this ground-floor property is very comfortable, well furnished and importantly is clean. Views from the property is limited to the ridge of the fell Silver How, but after a day walking this may not be an issue. A higher terrace behind the property offers a seating area with wide sweeping views. Overall, this holiday property is well maintained and all but the most discerning will be comfortable.

    Lovely spacious cottage with everything you need. Some smell of damp in twin room and the double bed was very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on. Over all a good place to stay just a shame about the bed.

    Really nice. The floorboard can be a bit noisy with the flat above, but we popped up and mentioned this, so they were really good after that. Dave

    We had a wonderful week at Beech Ghyll. Fantastic location in the heart of the Lake District and Grasmere has everything you need but is much more relaxed than nearby Ambleside. The cottage is relatively spacious and the open plan living space works really well. We had everything we needed and there and would definitely stay again. The owners were lovely.
