    Superb, spacious, well equipped and ideally located for exploring the Lake District. Really comfy king sized bed. Some excellent restaurants nearby especially Romney’s who do a fillet steak to die for.

    We had a fantastic week at the Bolt Hole in Kendal. Beautiful apartment, scrupulously clean and well equipped with everything you could ever need. Kendal is a lovely town with many and varied shops. Also a great base from which to travel around the Lake District.

    Philip and Hilary are a most helpful and friendly couple and provided a lovely welcome pack. They also gave us useful advice about the area. We enjoyed a perfect holiday.

    A lovely little holiday flat. Very clean and well equipped. Cosy lounge with fire and comfortable sofas. Good place to relax and read when it's pouring with rain! Sadly didn't have the opportunity to sit outside on the small patio as it rained all week. Bed very firm but got used to it after a couple of nights. Amenities handy down in Kendal town centre but it is a steep hill when walking back. Only small negative is the bathroom is dated and has carpet!
