Comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage with a secure rear patio garden and off road parking. We stayed for 2 weeks and Chrystal, the owner, offered us fresh towels and gave us information regarding places to visit. The cottage is ideally placed for seeing Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Bury St. Edmunds has all the large supermarkets and interesting historic buildings and independent shops, only a short drive away. The cottage doesn't have a washing machine, but we used the launderette a few mins walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Beech Tree Cottage to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We loved our time at Beech Tree. We had most of what we needed apart from a washer but we Just used the laundromat down the road.

Photos of cottage underate it's spaciousness. Unlike so many cottages we have stayed in, anything needed was there, e.g. tin opener, kitchen towels, loo paper. The welcome pack was amazing, tea coffee hotlicks biscuits and a big homemade cake.

Lovely bungalow just a short walk into Bury St Edmunds town centre. Comfortable and very clean. Small back garden very secure for two small dogs and a lovely dog walk close by. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. We will not visit again only because we do not visit the same area twice but will not hesitate to recommend to others.

There could have been a disastrous start to our stay in the cottage when, a few minutes after arriving I stupidly locked us out of the cottage. A quick phone call to Mrs Cooper brought her straight to our rescue. The welcome tray and milk in the fridge was then quickly put to good use. The cottage was fully equipped and well maintained. The superking sized bed was very comfortable. It is close to a green locally known as part of the old holy water meadows which is handy for walking dogs. Bury St Edmunds is a beautiful historical market town. It has a good mix of shops and entertainment. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech Tree Cottage to people looking for accommodation close to the town centre.

The road is very busy noisy lorries early in the morning, however very handy for walking into town. The heating needs attention. Furniture rather uncomfortable, however overall quite good value for money.

Well what can I say, Beech Tree Cottage is just perfect as far as we are concerned. The Bungalow is just the right size. Although it is situated on what seems to be a fairly busy road, you don't really notice the traffic noise as the Bungalow is set far enough back from the road for it not to bother you. Location wise, it was ideal. There is a Tesco Express store a 5 min walk away. The Spread Eagle Pub is opposite Tesco and seems like a friendly place. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were perfectly safe in the fully enclosed Courtyard Style Garden at the back of the Bungalow. There was a walk of less then 20 minutes into a very well equipped Town Centre. If you like Greek Food go to Francela. The Welcome Pack was lovely and included a very yummy Cake. There were plenty of Dog Walks locally with Holywater Meadow just at the end of the road opposite Tesco. There is also Hardwick Heath a short walk away. Abbey Gardens in the Town Centre is also Dog Friendly and a lovely place to walk round. I would most certainly book to stay at Beech Tree Cottage if I wanted to visit the area again. The Bungalow was spotlessly clean and tidy upon arrival. You will not be disappointed if you choose Beech Tree Cottage.

The cottage is ideally situated for the town. Extremely clean thank you. We missed having any laundry equipment but there is a launderette a few doors away. Plumbing, particularly the shower, needs attention.
