Beechcroft House is a spacious, detached family holiday home with a sunny conservatory, summerhouse and large garden for relaxing after your days out. The welcoming wood burner is a lovely feature for snuggling up in the cooler months when you want to just switch off and relax for a while. Set in the small village of Swarland, not far from Alnwick and Amble, the village has a charming coffee shop and park, ideal if you want to have a quick lunch. The golf course is less than a mile from the house and the A1 is nearby making exploring the county so easy from this great location. Alnwick is only 8 miles away and a visit to the castle is a must whilst in Northumberland, the cobbled streets and historic feel of the town is ideal for families.
The small market town of Rothbury is only 12 miles away where a visit to Cragside House and Gardens makes a great day out. The pretty town of Morpeth is only 12 miles with riverside boats and plenty of shops, pubs and cafés for all age groups. The Heritage Coast is only a few miles away with miles of golden beaches, castles and friendly villages. From Swarland you can travel in all directions passing through Rothbury and out towards the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park and the Northumberland National Park. Newcastle upon Tyne is only 28 miles away should you need some true retail and cultural therapy, take the train from Alnmouth, just 8 miles away and leave your car for a hassle free few hours away.
