A very comfortable, well-appointed cottage, an annex to the owners' home. Great views from the windows of Bollihope Burn and the surrounding fells. Owners were very helpful without being too obtrusive and very accommodating to our needs. A great base for exploring the North Pennines, Durham, Northumberland and the Eastern Lake District.

Belle View is a lovely cottage and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, recommending lots of walks and places to visit. They even kindly brought us some lovely homemade fudge. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need and lots of information on the area is provided. The cottage is in a lovely quiet rural location with lovely walks from the doorstep we particularly enjoyed walks at Bollihope Burn. We visited the lovely waterfalls of Low Force and High Force along with a trip to Derwent Reservoir and Blanchland all recommended by the owners all within half an hours scenic drive. We took our two dogs who loved the walks in the area and having use of the large garden. We really enjoyed our week at Belle View and would love to return. Highly recommended.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location that was perfect for our needs. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of Information about walks in the area. There are walks straight from the door which is a real bonus. We watched a great variety of birds in the garden through the lounge window, the highlight being a cuckoo. Can highly recommend Belle View and hope to return.
