Belle Vue is a lovely open plan apartment with a full kitchen including a washing machine and tumbler dryer, plenty of seating and even a window seat with sea views- a lovely spot to sit with a cup of tea and watch the world go by. The pebbled beach opposite is great for swimming and offers some spectacular costal walks. Within minutes you can enjoy a splash park and skateboarding and a café on the beach.
Lee-on-the-Solent is the home of the hovercraft the Hovercraft Museum, which is open to the public on Saturdays. The High Street has an abundance of local businesses including a bakery, fish and chips, coffee shops, wine merchants, beauty salons and vintage shops. Plus a choice of a few restaurants.
Gosport is just a short car drive away which has a foot passenger ferry (every 15 minutes, or 7 minutes during peak times). It takes about 4 minutes on the ferry to get across to the historic Portsmouth harbour with designer outlets, waterside dining, a comedy club, leisure complex, nightclubs, museums, galleries and city tours by foot or boat. Whilst over in Portsmouth visit the Spinnaker Tower for the views, the dockyard where you can visit HMS Victory and HMS Warrior and you can also take a ferry across to the Isle of Wight for a great day out!
