Berry Barns has its own purpose-built 21/2 acres of coarse fishing lakes stocked with a wide variety of fish (no licence required, bring your own rods). Fishing is restricted to residents only, ensuring peaceful, unhurried and exciting fishing . Whether you want to fish for a dozen fish species in the lakes, or simply to enjoy the sight of dragonflies and damselflies skimming over the water, or the brilliant blue flash of a diving kingfisher, the lakes add something just a little bit magical to Berry Barns. The ancient market towns of Holsworthy, Hatherleigh, Barnstaple and the historic ‘little white town’ of Bideford are within easy reach.
