Nice peaceful, quiet house location, the only main drawback for us was the awfully uncomfortable beds in all the bedrooms...which had old mattresses that were so very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on ....we had to sleep ontop of the quilt covers to try and not feel so hard the springs in our backs ,...
have stayed here many times but slowly the standard is dropping since a change of key holder 2 years ago .an example of this was the rotting vegetables in a kitchen cupboard left by the previous occupants 5 weeks before.
It was a joy to stay in this wonderful peaceful home. It was perfect.

Less welcoming than on our previous two visits in 2014 and 2016.
We found the cottage warm and friendly ,all we were looking forward to. The care taker was very pleasant when we spoke to her. The location allowed us to explore all the places that we planned to visit on our stay. The local amenities were good and friendly service. All in all an excellent choice.
